It embarked on its long ferry flight over the Arctic from Guernsey on 27th December, arriving at Santo Domingo, Venezuela (SVSO) on 2nd January. The ferry route was EGJB - EGPO - BIKF - BGBW - CYYR - KBGR - KPHF - KOPF - MDSD - SVSO, conducted by Direct Personnel.

The aircraft is the first passenger aircraft to go into operation with start up airline Aeroandinas, based at La Fria airport in the mountainous state of Táchira in Western Venezuela. It is due to fly local scheduled passenger routes.

Juliet Hewitt, Marketing Manager at Skyworld Aviation says “This has been an interesting project and we are delighted to have assisted Aeroandinas with their first aircraft acquisition. We are also proud to have assisted Blue Islands with the timely disposal of this Jetstream, after they recently took delivery of their first ATR 72.”
